Fees and Details
$150.00 / 6 CLAY classes
No fee / 3 GLAZING days
- Minimum enrollment: 6
- Maximum enrollment: 10
- All clay materials, glazing and kiln time are included in the clay class fee.
- Glazing will only take place on glazing days and is optional.
- Only students that have clay projects to glaze may attend glazing days.
- Fired, unglazed artwork may go home, as is, or may wait at the art studio for another glazing day.
- Fired clay projects, glazed or unglazed, made between March 11– May 27 wil be ready for pick-up on or after Sunday, June 10.
Complimentary Make Up Clay Class Day
- Sunday, June 10 will be a complimentary make-up day for anyone that misses a scheduled clay class.
- Clay projects made on June 10 will be available for pick up on or after June 24, fired once but unglazed.
Registration and Payment
1.) First contact Program Director Kim Greene at kgreene@thebrighthorse.com / Office: 919-929-2568 / Cell: 919-357-8501 to confirm your child's name has been added to the class roster. If you mail in the registration form and your payment without first receiving confirmation from Kim Greene, your child's seat cannot be guaranteed.
2.) Download a registration form.
3.) Mail completed form and your check, payable to Bright Horse Art, Inc. to our business addresses:

Guests are welcome!
Planning a sleepover the night before clay class? Visiting relatives? Interested friends? No problem!
Guests are welcome to join your child on Sunday!
- 2 guest seats available per clay class
- 48 hours advance notice is required if your child wants to bring a guest to clay class. You must speak with me or have written confirmation from me on Friday to confirm a guest seat on Sunday.
- Guests must pay for the clay class they attend on the day they attend.
$25.00 per clay class date/ per guest - Guest clay artwork will be handled just like regular student clay artwork.
- If the guest artist does not wish to come back and glaze...his or her fired, but unglazed, clay artwork will be sent home with YOU for safe delivery to its owner.
- If the guest artist does wish to come back and glaze...his or her parent must speak with me or have written confirmation from me to schedule attendance on a glazing day. Only guests that have paid for a regular clay class may attend a free glazing day.
- Glazed guest artwork made between March 11 - May 27 will be ready for pick-up on or after Sunday, June 10.
- Guests must fit the age range of the clay class your child attends.
- Unexpected guests cannot be guaranteed participation in a clay class or a glazing day.

Co-Founder, Art Director and Office Manager of Bright Horse Farm and Art Studio
Kim holds a B.F.A. from Buffalo State College with a dual focus in Art Education. She has lived and worked as an art teacher in NC since 2000 where she has helped hundreds of students learn how to draw by creating, organizing and teaching hundreds of art lessons. She also has an art studio at Bright Horse Farm where she offers clay classes, as well as art camps year round.
