CHCYMCA YR Art Display at Carol Woods
Afterschool Art Doing Good in Your Community!
We are eager to establish each Bright Horse afterschool art class as a viable source of charitable giving in the community. The format is simple! Each child donates one piece of artwork per ten week session which is displayed quarterly at a given public location. Once a year, a silent auction is held and the proceeds benefit vaious people and organizations in the community.
Each quarterly display will enjoy a public art reception for friends and family. If the children donate their artwork for the display they will receive a T-shirt featuring their artwork in return. Donated artwork will be sold once a year at a public silent auction. (Location: TBA) As you can see from this beautiful tiger, created by Zac at the CHCYMCA last spring, the children produce art that is truly memorable.

The proceeds from the sale of each piece will be divided 50/50 between the CHCYMCA's Strong Kids Scholarship Program and as a scholarship fund to bring art classes to seniors.
Additional locations to display artwork are needed! If you are interested in helping with this, please contact:
