Youth—Kid Power Camp:
“The game of Equine Billiards was thought to be impossible by some, but with much teamwork and cooperation we were able to get the horses in their places!”
“I learned things about myself, such as My Hat; I also learned more about teamwork.”
“I learned to trust myself”
“The most important thing I learned was how to work well in a group.”
“The thing I liked best was the obstacle course and I also liked the drawings! The thing I liked least was…I loved it all!”
“Today’s art activity was fun. I loved using bright colors on our abstract drawings of horses. I always draw horses but abstract was a new style that I haven’t done very much of.”
Adults—Art Lesson
I had a woooooonderful time at the farm. I particularly liked the way everyone's mood changed as we got into the creative act. At first we were just a bunch of early morning women, fitting a meeting in before the start of a long day. Before you knew it, we were having nothing but fun! Kim walked us into the sketching in such a smooth manner. Something about her presentation made me - and I bet everyone else - think, well, of course I can draw. Of course I can copy Georgia O'Keefe and make it my own!
